Job Title: Survey and Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:
CareStar is seeking a highly skilled Survey and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting onsite licensing inspections and investigations at Long-Term Care facilities across the state.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct surveys during the facility's operating hours, which may include early morning, late evening, and weekend availability.
  • Interview complainants and witnesses to obtain information regarding allegations.
  • Complete reports on survey completion, including statements of deficiency and recommendations.
  • Initiate, review, and submit data and documentation according to established processes.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
  • Possesses one of the following licensures: Nursing License, Licensed Social Worker, Registered/Licensed Dietician.
  • Two years' experience working with the populations served by the applicable program.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $82,000 per year based on location and experience.
