We are looking for a committed Site Lead to oversee a portfolio of large-scale solar energy and battery storage initiatives throughout Texas. The Site Lead will uphold exemplary standards in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices while managing the technical and operational aspects of the energy facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the daily management, upkeep, and administrative functions for multiple extensive renewable energy generation sites.
  • Supervise site staff, including operations and maintenance contractors as well as equipment vendors, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Offer guidance and oversight to third-party maintenance teams in troubleshooting, upkeep, and operations to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
  • Foster strong relationships with landowners, suppliers, clients, vendors, service providers, regulatory bodies, and contractors.
  • Assist in the formulation of internal operational policies, standards, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in engineering or a high school diploma with a minimum of five years of pertinent experience.
  • At least three (3) years of experience supervising technical and O&M teams within the solar sector.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years in operations and maintenance positions.
  • In-depth knowledge of high-voltage substation equipment and solar energy technologies.
  • Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and electrical safety regulations.
  • Experience in a leadership role is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with SEL, GE protection relays, and RTAC systems is advantageous.
