- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Preparing service carts with essential supplies for cleaning duties.
- Completing the cleaning of guest rooms within the allocated time, which encompasses:
- Changing and arranging bed linens.
- Vacuuming carpets and repositioning furniture as necessary.
- Dusting and sanitizing all furniture, including frames, lamps, and surfaces.
- Cleaning mirrors, windows, and walls thoroughly.
- Meticulously cleaning bathrooms, including showers, sinks, and toilets.
- Replacing guest amenities such as toiletries and stationery.
- Disposing of waste properly.
- Ensuring guest room setups meet established standards.
- Reporting any discrepancies in room status to the supervisor.
- Returning lost items according to established protocols.
- Completing task sheets after servicing each room.
- Ensuring all cleaning equipment is functional and supplies are replenished, reporting any needs for repairs or restocking.
- Interacting with guests to respond to requests and provide necessary services, directing them to other staff when appropriate.
- Understanding operational procedures across hotel departments and working collaboratively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and performing all duties with efficiency and care.
- Ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
- Following supervisor directives and undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with relevant experience in hospitality or a related field.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently.
- Capable of standing for the duration of the shift.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of staff and guests, demonstrating a friendly and service-oriented demeanor.
