Job Summary

The Certified Wound Care Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality wound care, chronic medical conditions, and comprehensive medical care to patients in the Post-Acute Care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and wound care exams, and patient observations
  • Create patient care plans and analyze diagnostic tests
  • Diagnose health issues and order diagnostic tests
  • Consult with healthcare professionals and families
  • Detect changes in patient health and modify treatment as needed
  • Perform wound care treatment and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid nurse practitioner license in the state of operations and current board certification in the field
  • Masters Degree in Nursing
  • Wound Care Certification
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
