Regional Sales Manager - Midwest

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our regional sales efforts in the Midwest. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the construction and engineering industries, with a strong focus on value-based technical selling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing value chain and drive growth in the region
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineers, owners, and contractors
  • Prepare and present technical proposals to secure new business
  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities within the region
  • Facilitate regional business growth through entrepreneurial mindset and strategic planning
  • Manage daily regional accounts and report on competitor activity and territory performance
  • Recommend new product innovations to drive business growth
  • Price negotiation with customers in coordination with Area Sales Manager
  • Execute regional Commercial and Digital Marketing plans in line with X+1 growth plans
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Sales/Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years proven outside sales and/or engineering experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel upwards of 50% in the assigned region
  • Strong negotiation skills in high-pressure environments
  • Knowledge of general building processes and new product specification development
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with result-driven mindset
  • Concise and accurate decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools, CRM, forecasting, and marketing techniques
