Cardiac Sonographer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Medical City Denton. As an Echo Technician, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasounds without supervision, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiac ultrasound studies with technical skill and instrumentation
  • Maintain equipment function and safety policy and procedures
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Registered Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Technical or vocational training in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Echocardiography
