Ultrasound Technologist PRN Job Summary

Medical City Denton is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to perform high-quality ultrasound procedures, follow physician orders, and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality ultrasound procedures, following physician orders and maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Practice quality patient care, exercising excellent customer service skills and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Participate in call/holiday coverage, maintaining competencies and current knowledge of procedures.
  • Complete all records and documentation, practicing radiation safety and participating in department initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification within 6 months of employment start date.
  • Registered Vascular Technician (RVT), Vascular Sonography, or Vocational School Graduate degree within 1 year of employment start date.
