Job Summary:

Axelon seeks a skilled Logistics Operations Specialist to support the Reference Standard and Critical Reagent Group. This role involves coordinating domestic and global shipment logistics, managing logistical activities, and preparing shipping documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand how materials are prepared for shipment, including container selection, shipping temperature, and packaging requirements.
  • Manage outgoing orders, including order consolidation, and ensure accurate data entry in the RSCROS inventory system.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to facilitate material movement, both domestically and internationally.
  • Interface with PPD and other partners to resolve shipping-related issues.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, chemistry, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in a shipping logistics environment, specifically in scientific settings. Hazmat Shipping Certification is mandatory.
