Aviation MRO Sales Executive
Overview:
  • Handles customer inquiries and concerns related to technical services, products, and accounts. Evaluates and resolves customer issues using established protocols. Utilizes computer systems to access and update customer information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assesses customer service requests to identify the cause of the request, type of issue, and customer location.
  • Calculates required personnel hours, number of staff, and necessary parts and equipment for service engagements.
  • Develops schedules for service teams, assigning personnel to specific routes or repair tasks.
  • Coordinates the transportation of machinery and equipment to the customer's site for installation or to the workshop for repairs.
  • Maintains records of labor hours, parts used, and work completed for each service engagement.
  • Orders replacement parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicates with service personnel via radio or telephone to relay information and instructions regarding service or installation tasks.
  • Responsible for data entry and upkeep of a database containing engineering and customer part numbers.
  • Creates and maintains bills of materials for produced items.
  • Must effectively collaborate and integrate data from various sources.
  • As required, performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Educational and training specifications, along with job-related experience and knowledge/abilities, serve as general guidelines based on the minimum experience typically deemed essential for satisfactory performance in this role.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
  • Two years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
Management must consult with the Human Resources department before making significant changes to job responsibilities.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Proficient in computer use.
  • Able to read and understand documentation in English.
  • Effective written communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Walks at least 40% of the workday.
  • Other physical activities include walking, bending, reaching, sitting, repetitive hand and wrist motions, and various sensory activities.
