Work Environment

As a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit, you will be exposed to a variety of challenging and dynamic situations. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of patient acuity, and you will be required to use your critical thinking skills and clinical expertise to make sound decisions and provide high-quality care.

Physical Requirements

This role requires a range of physical activity from sedentary work to heavy work. You will be required to sit, stand, walk, and lift patients, as well as carry, push, pull, and lift objects involved in day-to-day activities. You will also be required to use appropriate Safe-Patient Handling equipment and to maintain visual acuity, auditory, and verbal skills.
