Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team at Merit Health - Central. As a key member of our Behavioral Health department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Collect vital signs, weigh patients, and collect routine specimens as needed.
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed professional, adhering to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in mental health or a related field.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mental health field.
