Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction surveying.
  • Proficiency in Earthwork Modeling, with a solid understanding of Alignments and Profile Design, as well as Mapping and Coordinate systems.
  • Experience in conducting quantity surveys, producing as-built drawings, and performing layout tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Expertise in Survey Data Management, including data downloading from instruments, storage, filing, and processing into required formats for analysis and tracking.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with advanced survey technology, including Trimble Access, Trimble SCS900, TBC (Trimble Business Center), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Capability to organize and interpret survey data for construction project documentation.
  • Ability to utilize survey data for accurate records of work completed.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily management of survey staff and task assignments.
  • Supervise and mentor survey crews in daily layout operations, ensuring alignment with production requirements.
  • Maintain current knowledge of production operations schedules and procedures, making informed decisions related to survey responsibilities and personnel management.
