We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dialysis team at Health Systems Management, Inc. (HSM). As a Home Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and education to patients with end-stage renal disease.
Responsibilities:- Educate patients on prescribed dialysis treatment and provide guidance on home therapy modality.
- Evaluate prospective new home therapy patients and explain modality options and home dialysis requirements.
- Render highly professional and technical nursing care to dialysis patients.
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members in the management of patient care at home.
- Interact with patients and their families to provide instruction and assess daily patient care needs.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing processes.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to achieve the highest standards of care.
- Ensure a secure and safe patient environment by following safety policies and standards of care.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current RN licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1-year RN experience, required.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
- Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara's Color Blind Test.
