Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients, answers phones, takes messages, and returns calls while documenting all interactions accurately and completely.
  • Schedules patient appointments, registers patients, and verifies insurance information.
  • Collects patient payments, prepares medical records, and maintains department and individual work queues.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, promotes a positive work environment, and adheres to Intermountain Healthcare's mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
  • One year of customer service experience involving interactions with customers in person and by phone.
  • Professional manner, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting.
Work Environment

This position is located at our Lafayette Clinic and Superior Clinic in LaFayette, Colorado. The scheduled weekly hours are 40 hours, and the hourly range for this position is $18.29 - $22.54.
