Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Painter to join our team at Omnia360 Facility Solutions. As a Commercial Painter, you will be responsible for painting and preparing surfaces for painting, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, filling holes and cracks, and sanding until smooth.
  • Apply primer and other sealers as needed.
  • Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications.
  • Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using paintbrushes, rollers, or sprayers.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, rollers, and tarps.
  • Remove old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds, or blowtorches.
  • Clean machines, equipment, and work areas using water, solvents, and other cleaning aids.
  • Review and implement work orders and assignments.
  • Remove and reinstall fixtures as necessary.
  • Assemble scaffolding as needed.
Requirements
  • Possess outstanding customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
  • First shift schedule, with flexibility to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Ability to wear and manage various types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work on ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and aerial lift equipment.
  • A high school diploma or GED, or 4 years of commercial painting experience or combination of experience and education.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to use computerized work order systems.
  • Ability to complete required safety classes.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass FBI/BCI background check and drug test.
