Job Responsibilities: The OPERATIONS ASSISTANT plays a crucial role in the production facility, supporting machinery operators with various tasks including operation assistance, inventory management, and monitoring.

  • Adhere to quality control protocols and eliminate products that do not meet established standards while following sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility in accordance with company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Regular tasks include cleaning and restocking employee areas, managing waste, and ensuring sanitation of workspaces.
  • Complete documentation accurately and legibly, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Promptly report any issues related to food safety and quality to supervisory staff.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Participate in the management of empty packaging materials as required.
  • May be required to work in a cooler environment averaging 35 degrees Fahrenheit and outdoors.
  • Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
  • Previous experience in a labor-intensive role within a similar setting is preferred.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to use hands for handling, talking, and listening. The role necessitates standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and bending. The employee must regularly push, pull, lift, and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet, and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; and moderate noise levels in the work environment.
