Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Special Education Intervention Specialist to join our team at the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in providing students with a variety of disabilities with effective instruction and learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of students with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, resource rooms, and community-based locations.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet the evolving needs of students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to student success.
Requirements
  • Valid Ohio certification/licensure in Special Education.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education of disabled children or a related field.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and needs.
