Job Summary

The General Office Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets and assists vendors, customers, job applicants, and other visitors
  • Operates the switchboard or telephone console to route incoming calls and coordinate product delivery
  • Schedules and coordinates efficient distribution of products to meet store demand
  • Analyzes and revises shipment plans as required
  • Works with other departments to ensure store satisfaction and accuracy of shipment records
  • Assigns product to trucks based on length, purpose of trip, freight requirements, and user preference
  • Investigates overdue vehicles and communicates with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or damaged merchandise
  • Prepares documentation for domestic or international shipments and maintains records accordingly
Requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to use computer systems and knowledge of operational reports and procedures.
