Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Insight Global. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting students with speech and language challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in effective communication with students, families, educational staff, and administration, both verbally and in writing.
  • Provide guidance to school personnel and families regarding the development of speech and language skills and their relevance to educational objectives.
  • Contribute to collaborative teams focused on addressing the speech and language needs of students.
  • Exhibit proficiency in utilizing both formal and informal assessment tools.
  • Identify students who qualify for speech and language services based on their unique requirements and established criteria.
  • Prepare comprehensive oral and written reports that are clear and concise, adhering to recommended formats and timelines.
  • Formulate and execute suitable objectives for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), and Service Plans that align with the documented needs of students.
  • Apply evidence-based intervention strategies, tailored instructional methods, and assistive technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Maintain precise records of speech-language services and therapy logs, documenting student progress with relevant data.
  • Ensure accurate completion of Third Party billing within the designated timelines.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance expertise in the field.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
  • Current licensure is mandatory.
  • Must possess a Speech-Language Pathology License from the relevant health department.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Familiarity with school systems and participation in IEP meetings.
