Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a hospital setting. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with catheterization procedures, including preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, including catheters, guidewires, and contrast media.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
