Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply your engineering expertise to diverse projects, collaborating with teams to devise innovative solutions in areas such as railway infrastructure, stormwater management, port facilities, fisheries, cruise terminals, small boat harbors, and marinas.
  • Contribute to projects involving waterfront developments and industrial developments, leveraging your skills to drive successful outcomes in these specialized areas.
  • Assist in managing project tasks, ensuring efficient coordination of timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Foster strong client relationships by actively listening to client needs, providing clear communication, and delivering customized solutions that align with their objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required, PE preferred.
  • Minimum three years of full-time experience in design.
  • Experience designing civil infrastructure on the waterfront and industrial sites and/or major transportation infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of Washington Department of Ecology Storm Water Design Manuals.
  • Ability to fulfill duties as civil technical design lead.
  • Ability to manage or assist in the management of projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Proficiency and experience in AutoCAD for construction document creation.
  • Preferred familiarity with Civil 3D and MicroStation.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capability to work dynamically and effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for developing design and project management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and exceeding expectations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table. Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
