UF Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnosis and treatment, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures for diagnosis and treatment, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and equipment.
- Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and optimal patient care.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
- Prefer experienced MRI Technologists with a strong background in cross-sectional anatomy.
- Prefer ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registered technologist, with the ability to pass the advanced examination for MRI certification within one year of employment.
- Must have current BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced MRI certification or registry eligibility.
- At least one year of experience in the Radiology or MRI department.
