Primary Role:
In addition to delivering conventional accounting and taxation services, our firm focuses on business valuation and investigative accounting. As a compact firm, the duties associated with this role will encompass everything from managing client relationships to administrative tasks, and all responsibilities in between. Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciling client bank accounts and bookkeeping records
- Preparing journal entries for clients
- Generating financial statements for clients
- Preparing business and personal income tax returns
- Assisting in the development of business valuations
- Supporting forensic examination processes
- Assisting in calculations for lost profits and economic damages
- Conducting tax-related research
- Performing additional tasks as directed by the Owner
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time position (part-time options may be considered)
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM
- 40 hours of work per week
- Business casual attire is expected
Qualifications:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- Strong business writing capabilities
- Experience with UltraTax is advantageous
- Ability to work independently is essential
- Capability to organize and analyze extensive data sets
