About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LPN to join our team of caregivers. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage physicians' prescribed plans of care for patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as needed
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide health education and training to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to address patient concerns and changes in condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation
