Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare.

About the Role

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to medically fragile clients in their homes.
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care, conduct patient assessments, and coordinate care with healthcare teams.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed, and document care provided in our system of record.
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, clients, and family members to address concerns and changes in client condition.

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state where you will practice.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.
