Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at LCS. As an LVN, you will play a critical role in providing direct nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our Quality of Life Specialists and Resident Assistants to ensure the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), family and social activities, and promoting independent living.
  • Identify and report resident medical and behavioral changes, developing and monitoring care plans and re-assessing each resident as needed.
  • Conduct daily reports to the Director of Health Services, providing updates on community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
  • Administer nursing care according to physician's orders and established standards, ensuring preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate nursing care and ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Current nursing license valid in the state of California.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional care and support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
