Compassionate Caregiver Wanted for Senior Living Community

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Benchmark Senior Living. As a compassionate caregiver, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents in a warm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents, assessing their needs and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor resident behavior and health status, reporting significant changes to the Resident Care Director and other relevant parties.
  • Supervise and direct the daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants, ensuring seamless support for our residents.
  • Mentor and guide Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job, promoting growth and development within the team.
  • Coordinate care needs with community providers, utilizing effective case management processes to ensure comprehensive support for our residents.
  • Balance service demands with supporting resident independence, recognizing and addressing potential elder abuse and neglect situations.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and personal emergency response system activations, knowing when to seek backup assistance.

Requirements:

  • Holds current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
  • Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working as a nurse, preferably with seniors in a paid or volunteer capacity.

Estimated Salary Range: $32-$38.50 per hour, plus additional shift differentials. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 for full-time positions and $1,000 for part-time roles is also available.
