Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

IHC Health Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team in Nashua, New Hampshire.

This PRN opportunity offers flexibility with varying hours, depending on your availability and patient care needs. You will work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide exceptional diagnostic services in medical imaging.

The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in performing and interpreting various imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, arthrograms, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to perform and interpret imaging procedures.
  • Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations to gather relevant information for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on imaging findings, working with the referring healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Evaluate patients' responses to imaging procedures, identifying and reporting any adverse reactions or complications.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and providing necessary instructions for pre- and post-procedure care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters, imaging results, and treatment plans in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • New Hampshire state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Eligibility for State Controlled Substance License.
  • Eligibility for Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
