Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pickup of Packages: Safely operate a large delivery vehicle to deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences.
  • Route Management: Routinely perform 150+ stops a day, delivering packages to various locations while maintaining accurate records of delivery and pickup.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily inspections of the vehicle, checking fluid levels and ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Loading and Organizing: Load the vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and maintain effective communication with management.
  • Scanner Operation: Accurately operate the scanner to track delivery processes and ensure accurate disposition of packages.
Requirements
  • Age and License: Be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
  • Clean Driving Record: Possess a clean driving record and pass a DOT physical.
  • Lifting and Transportation: Be able to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck.
  • Background Check: Pass a FedEx Ground criminal background check.
  • Reliable Transportation: Have reliable transportation to and from work and be on time and ready to work each day.
  • Weather Conditions: Be able to work in all types of weather.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Possess a strong work ethic and a get-it-done attitude.
  • Language Skills: Be able to speak English fluently.
