The Laundry and Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our linen delivery and laundry services. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions
  • Deliver and pick up linens from customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Sort, load, and unload commercial washers and dryers
  • Lay out and feed sheets into the ironer/folder
  • Inspect linens for stains and wear, and discard any that are damaged
  • Record discarded linens in the log
  • Keep the laundry area, break room, and bathrooms clean and organized
  • Clean dryer lint traps
Secondary Functions
  • Be punctual and comply with hourly work schedules
  • Present a professional image and wear the required uniform
  • Back up on the phone when required in the housekeeping office
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Regularly using hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls
  • Frequently walking, standing, squatting, or kneeling, bending, and speaking, hearing, and smelling
  • Ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and finger activities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must have a current valid driver's license
