Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scribe to join our team at DAP Health. As a Clinical Scribe, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient information and facilitating the flow of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of patient visits and procedures
- Assist providers in navigating the electronic health record (EHR)
- Locate and retrieve patient information for review
- Champion quality initiatives and implement key components into documentation
- Troubleshoot basic IT needs and notify providers of pending items/system alerts
- Participate in huddles with the care team and maintain awareness of clinical scribe scope of practice
- Attend training on diverse subjects as needed to enhance or maintain performance
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience using Medical Terminology and understanding Medical Terminology
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant/Licensed Vocational Nurse or other healthcare education/certificates/work experience required
- Preferred recent applicable experience (2-5 years)
Compensation: $26.77 per hour
Pay Type: Hourly
