We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Scholar to join our research team at the Penn State University College of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in the field of cell and molecular biology, with a focus on understanding the cell-cell interactions that establish collective cell polarity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute experiments to investigate cell adhesion and cell polarity using in vitro and in vivo approaches.
  • Employ cell and molecular biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture, basic cell/molecular biology techniques, and fluorescence microscopy.
  • Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement new research projects.
  • Present research findings at national and international conferences.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of postdoctoral research experience.
  • Strong background in cell and molecular biology techniques, including mammalian cell culture and fluorescence microscopy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
