The Associate Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role on the Production Reporting Team at Murphy Oil Corporation. This position requires a diverse background, strong functional skills, and a deep understanding of business processes and technical proficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide real-time support to internal business users of our applications, including eVIN, ProCount, Carte, and FlowCal.
- Manage the process of problem response, triage, and documentation of defects, as well as communicate remediation.
- Support operations by setting up new wells, allocations networks, flow changes, and allocation formulas.
- Coach and train operations on data entry, corrections, and P2 Merrick applications.
- Lead projects to streamline business processes, including software upgrades, new allocation scenarios, and business process updates.
- Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or Business Management.
- Minimum 2 years' experience writing SQL scripts and supporting software applications, preferably P2/Merrick Applications, eVIN, FlowCal, ProCount, Carte, DTS, and ProArt.
- Desired/Preferred Qualifications: SAP PRA, Spotfire, Advanced Programming Skills (Database Creation, SSIS,.Net, Java, C#), and 2 years of experience in upstream oil and gas and/or experience with oil and gas consulting firms with a proven track record of leading projects.
