Radiology Imaging Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at Cook Children's Health Care System. As a key member of our Radiology Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing quality diagnostic imaging examinations by applying advanced clinical and technical knowledge and protocols.
About the Role: The Radiographer is accountable for maintaining strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organization and department policies and procedures. Knowledgeable of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with the Radiation Safety Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality diagnostic imaging examinations by applying advanced clinical and technical knowledge and protocols.
- Maintain strict attention to safe patient care in accordance with organization and department policies and procedures.
- Knowledgeable of regulatory compliance standards and radiation safety, maintaining departmental compliance in collaboration with the Radiation Safety Officer.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Experience working in pediatrics preferred.
- ARRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
