Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a 13-week assignment in Athens, Georgia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our Radiology department. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular exams
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the examination process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Current certification in ultrasound technology
