Veritas Steel LLC is seeking a skilled Welder - 2nd Shift Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks to meet production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding Operations: Perform FCAW & SMAW processes to codes and standards, including repairs and miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Shop Supervisor.
- Production Demands: Meet high production demands in a timely manner and complete high-quality work with expertise.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. to ensure availability and functioning of required items and ensure safety.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with shop supervisor and other personnel to complete projects/work orders efficiently, on time, and with no defects.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and surrounding coworkers.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Physical Abilities: Able to lift 40 pounds and carry 30 pounds, push/move objects up to 50 pounds of force, and pull up to 122 pounds of force.
- Working Conditions: Work is performed indoors in a large warehouse or outside in all weather conditions, with regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other possible hazardous conditions.
