Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Welcome pharmacy patrons and deliver outstanding customer service while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
  • Insurance Coordination: Engage with third-party entities to address and resolve insurance-related inquiries.
  • Medication Preparation: Accurately prepare prescribed medications, including counting tablets, labeling containers, and managing inventory restocking.
  • Prescription Verification: Review and confirm the accuracy of prescriptions prior to dispensing.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure meticulous documentation of the prescription fulfillment process is adhered to consistently.
  • Patient Records Maintenance: Keep patient profiles and records updated, and prepare necessary insurance documentation.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold quality assurance standards and maintain all required documentation.
  • Reporting: Complete pharmacy-related paperwork and maintain regular reports.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other projects and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisors.
