About the Role

Strata Clean Energy is seeking a highly skilled Associate Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business objectives and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to support Strata's business growth and expansion.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to Strata's management and employees on a range of matters, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with external counsel to manage and direct legal resources, ensuring that Strata's interests are represented effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with current events and developments affecting the renewable energy industry, identifying potential risks and opportunities for Strata.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes, document templates, and best practices within the legal department.
Requirements
  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Current license to practice law in a U.S. state.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy law.
  • Strong interest in renewable energy and a proven track record of success in this field.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiating, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
