Job Summary

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents and patients in a long-term care setting. As a member of our care team, you will assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, while promoting a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, and ambulating
  • Take initial vital signs and provide weights to nursing staff in a timely manner
  • Monitor and record resident/patient intake and output in accordance with unit standards or physician orders
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident/patient-related issues and support resident/patient rights
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide excellent care
Requirements
  • Active Maine CNA License
  • 3 years of experience in long-term care or a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
