Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring patient responses, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' pain management needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pain management research, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- One year of clinical experience in a procedural area, preferably in pain management.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Pain Management Certification a plus.
