Position Overview:
Chipton-Ross is seeking 12 experienced Structural Analysis Engineers for a contract/hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will:
1. Spearhead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to shape the system design.
2. Collaborate with various engineering teams to define the product's operational environment.
3. Direct product design efforts and validate structural integrity through the application of analytical methods, finite element modeling, and other simulation tools throughout the product lifecycle.
4. Formulate and oversee test plans and configurations, support test execution, and analyze/report test outcomes to ensure systems and components fulfill specifications.
5. Document certification and test results to demonstrate compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
6. Investigate in-service product failures and propose enhancements.
7. Innovate analytical processes and tools to boost the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of development efforts.

Essential Qualifications:
Successful candidates must complete training as a condition of employment.

Required Skills:
- Experience with BCA fuselage stress and design (skin, stringer, frame, pressure deck, etc.).
- Familiarity with Client tool Moss-Duberg is a plus.
- Integration experience is essential, particularly prior BCA fuselage experience for global coordination.

System Stress Expertise:
- Proficiency in analyzing stress for flight controls, mechanical hydraulics, high lift, electrical systems, and/or ECS system installations.

Educational Background:
A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry is required, along with typically 9 or more years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., PhD with 4 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 7 years of related experience). ABET accreditation is preferred in the USA.
