Caregiver Opportunity at Good Samaritan Society

Seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity with a salary range of $18.00 - $25.50 per hour, depending on experience. The shift schedule is day time with 36.00 hours worked per week. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while enjoying a fulfilling career in caregiving.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures as needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
