The ideal candidate will work closely with the team to identify root causes of incidents, develop effective corrective measures, and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences while ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate the organization's safety philosophies and values to all personnel, including craft labor, staff, construction managers, superintendents, and project managers, ensuring their understanding and commitment to safety programs and policies.
  • Advise on processes and safety measures that minimize employee exposure to physical, environmental, and ergonomic risks.
  • Lead incident investigations or facilitate accident inquiries, focusing on root cause analysis.
  • Oversee and address site safety issues, collaborating with operational leaders for timely resolution.
  • Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits, supporting construction leadership by engaging in Job Safety Analysis, Plan of Day, and other relevant meetings.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree (preferred but not mandatory).
  • OSHA 510 certification (mandatory).
  • A minimum of 5 years of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) experience (required).
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in the oil & gas or renewable energy sectors (preferred).
  • Familiarity with all applicable federal, state, local, and company safety regulations.
