We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Olive Tree Early Learning Academy. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, individualizing instruction for children based on their needs, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. You will work closely with the Co-Teacher to create a cohesive teaching team and ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and work with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers
  • Co-teach and collaborate with other staff members daily
  • Document and verify daily attendance records
  • Incorporate developmentally appropriate teaching methods to ensure kindergarten readiness
  • Implement the Creative Curriculum TS-GOLD Assessment into classroom activities and lesson plans
  • Use Conscious Discipline as an effective classroom management strategy
  • Maintain classroom interest centers that align with the Creative Curriculum and TS-GOLD Assessment
  • Communicate with parents regarding children's progress and development
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood education, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years Infant/Toddler teaching experience
  • Ability to work in-person at Olive Tree by August 1st
