Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for children with communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals, including articulation, language, and fluency.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for children.
  • Communicate effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, including children with complex communication needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric speech-language pathology, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and assistive technology.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology systems.
