Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Planner to join our team at Hyve Solutions. As a key member of our production planning team, you will be responsible for ensuring 100% on-time delivery, establishing build readiness, and maintaining efficiency of capacity and customer sizing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure 100% On-Time Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Establish Build Readiness: Work closely with production teams to ensure all necessary materials and resources are in place for production.
  • Maintain Efficiency of Capacity and Customer Sizing: Analyze production data to optimize capacity utilization and customer sizing.
  • Maintain Material Control and Liability for MFG: Oversee material inventory and ensure accurate tracking of WIP assemblies and inventory movement transactions.
  • Forecast Future Capacity and Labor: Collaborate with production teams to forecast future capacity and labor needs based on customer requirements.
  • Reconcile MPS to Customer PO Coverage: Regularly reconcile the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with customer Purchase Order (PO) coverage to ensure Hyve Solutions is not exposed over and above customer PO coverage or other authorized customer demand.
  • Achieve and Maintain 95% MPS Goal Confirmation: Work closely with production teams to achieve and maintain a 95% confirmation rate of sufficient material in Work-In-Progress (WIP).
  • Own Production Planning: Lead the review of Bills of Materials and discuss and routing to ensure accurate tracking of WIP assemblies and inventory movement transactions.
  • Analyze Material and Capacity Requirements: Collaborate with production teams to analyze material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to the Workcell manager and customer sales PM.
  • Maintain Workcell's Capacity Planning Model: Drive resolution on uneven capacity utilization to optimize manufacturing resources.
  • Meet Daily with Workcell and Manufacturing Team: Collaborate with production teams to assess production schedule, adjust as necessary, and optimize run quantities to minimize changeover and achieve 100% on-time delivery.
  • Familiar with Latest Customer Contract: Stay up-to-date with the latest customer contract and conditions regarding customer liability of material planning and production scheduling.
  • Be Workcell's Expert on Planning Activities: Support the production planner goal of never starting to build product without a valid PO or customer written approval.
  • Lead Review of Bills of Materials: Collaborate with production teams to lead the review of Bills of Materials and discuss and routing to ensure accurate tracking of WIP assemblies and inventory movement transactions.
  • Familiar with Hyve Purga Process: Understand the Hyve purga process for internal Workcell purges.
  • Work with Key Team Members: Collaborate with key team members to resolve blocking issues, such as test issues with Test Engineers.
  • Adhere to Safety and Health Rules: Comply with all safety and health rules and regulations associated with the position and as directed by supervisor.
  • Comply with Company Security Policy: Adhere to all procedures within the company security policy.
