CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students in a school-based setting, providing individualized therapy programs to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement

Provide a therapeutic program to meet individual needs of speech and hearing handicapped children

Assist and guide teachers in observing, describing, and referring to suspected and identified speech and language impairments

Provide a thorough assessment and diagnosis of articulation, voice, hearing, stuttering, and language impairments

Provide screening to identify speech-handicapped children at regular intervals and specified levels

Provide appropriate individualized programs of therapy to meet individual students' needs and to correct existing speech or language handicaps

Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement therapy by making suggestions for the student's daily activities

Provide information, support, and counseling to parents and families when appropriate

Provide in-service education and serve as a consultant to teachers and school members on topics concerning speech improvement

Keep thorough ongoing records for the individual student receiving therapy or other school-provided speech services

Requirements:

Successful completion of the National Certification Examination

1+ years of recent pediatrics/school-based experience preferred

Must be eligible to work in the United States

Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology

Valid SLP license in FL

ASHA certification
