Job Summary

Goodwin University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor of Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our faculty team. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students and contributing to the success of our Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program, including classroom and clinical instruction
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with ACOTE standards and Goodwin University's mission
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development and evaluation
  • Maintain accurate records and submit grades and reports in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy or a related field
  • Strong teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Experience in curriculum development and program evaluation
  • Strong knowledge of current trends and best practices in occupational therapy
