Mathnasium Instructor Job Description


Are you passionate about math and dedicated to helping students understand and enjoy it? We are seeking a skilled Mathnasium Instructor to join our team. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping students in grades K-12 catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math.

About the Role
Mathnasium Instructors teach students off of their customized learning plans, guiding them through a comprehensive math program that addresses their strengths and weaknesses. You will work closely with our program developers to create tailored lesson plans, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Teach math concepts to students in grades K-12, using our proprietary curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Assess student progress, identifying areas where additional support is needed and developing strategies to address these gaps.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve instructional methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Requirements

  • Math proficiency up to Algebra is required, with proficiency through Geometry and Calculus preferred.
  • Exceptional score on Mathnasium's Math Literacy exam.
  • Availability for at least 2 weekday shifts.
  • Clear record on a state and national background check.
