Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Analyst focused on enhancing and streamlining the medical claims billing process. This role is pivotal in conducting data analysis, collaborating with various departments, and addressing payer rejections and denials effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Develop advanced Excel reports and models to monitor reimbursement trends.
    • Utilize AS400, SQL, and Power BI for data extraction and analysis.
    • Perform trend and comparative analyses to address revenue cycle challenges.
  2. Problem Solving & Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams to enhance processes and resolve billing issues.
    • Establish strong relationships with third-party payers to address billing discrepancies.
    • Assess the impact of new insurance contracts and billing modifications.
  3. Project Management & Efficiency:
    • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
    • Evaluate and improve departmental processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
    • Potentially oversee a team of billing specialists, emphasizing financial outcomes.
  4. Communication & Reporting:
    • Deliver findings clearly and effectively to management.
    • Prepare various ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, claims management, or medical billing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance payer guidelines is advantageous.
